A stage for change

Every year, thousands of young activists, founders, decision-makers and embassadors from all over the world come together to work together on solutions to global challenges. From climate change and social justice, from education to peace and the stabilization of human rights – one thing unites all participants from all over the world: the pursuit of a better tomorrow.

This year, the summit took place in Munich. More than 190 countries were represented in the Bavarian capital for 4 days. And we, at Al Dente Entertainment, were allowed to be a part of it! What a privilege to accompany this global event on film.

Even before the actual ceremony, all representatives of the countries came together for the flag show. What an uplifting sight, 190 large flags in the autumn sun in front of the Olympic Tower! For all the challenges we are currently facing in the world, it is moments like these that make a difference – together instead of against each other.

As a film team, we were literally right in the middle of it instead of just being there. Our task was to make the magical atmosphere of the summit tangible. emotions. We accompanied this global event over four days: from the impressive opening ceremony in Munich’s Olympic Hall, events and lectures at the ICM exhibition center to the grand closing ceremony at BMW Welt.

With an 8-person team and 3 camera units, we made a big splash. Because this project is also something very special for us. Because it’s about attitude and attitude is becoming increasingly important in our eyes. We have been able to shoot in many countries all over the world and get to know the most diverse mentalities and cultures. But how often do you have the opportunity to meet almost 200 cultures at once at a peaceful gathering? The result is emotional images that pass on the intense energy of this top event.

For us, the One Young World Summit 2025 was more than just an assignment. Our biggest takeaway? Change means taking action.
