TASK:

ZÜBLIN Timber, a company for forward-looking solutions in timber engineering, wants a film that inspires enthusiasm for wood as a building material. The film should show reference buildings and highlight how important sustainable building materials are in today’s world. It is not intended to be a technical film for experts, but rather to show ZÜBLIN Timber’s sustainable and future-oriented attitude.

CONCEPT:

The “Visions of Wood” concept prevailed. It is the visions of ZÜBLIN Timber that give rise to the unique buildings. The focus is on wood as a building material, its feel, appearance and smell. The visionaries at ZÜBLIN Timber show that it is possible to use one of the oldest building materials known to mankind to create buildings that set the bar very high in terms of style and sustainability.

IMPLEMENTATION:

It was filmed at three different, current buildings, which represent unique references for ZÜBLIN Timber. Architects, engineers and other stakeholders were interviewed at the various locations, who reported on the collaboration with the visionaries of ZÜBLIN Timber and how they worked together to make these visions a reality.
