What does a good life mean?
TASK:
Under the umbrella of the Wernsing Food Family, there are around 30 companies throughout Europe for delicatessen and food production. A film solution was intended to convey to the very diverse group of employees and partners which values also apply across borders and cultures.
CONCEPT:
The focus is on people’s “good life”, which of course also includes “good food”. Four employees from four different countries talk about this. On the one hand, the audience gets a brief insight into the lives of the testimonials and what is really important to them. In the end, there are a lot in common, especially when it comes to food.
IMPLEMENTATION:
Four mini-portraits of four people in four countries (Holland, Spain, Denmark and Germany), which are interwoven. On site, the testimonials showed us how they live, which places they particularly like and introduced us to family and friends. Filmed with a small team. A special feature: the use of a Super 8 camera, the material of which had to be developed and digitized in the classic way.
SUCCESS:
The film is very prominently placed on the main page of the Wernsing Food Family and was sent to all partner companies in different language versions (subtitles). We have also submitted the film to several international film festivals.
