The double image film
TASK:
GRIMME Landmaschinen from the village of Damme wanted to address new applicants with a recruiting film. The GRIMME company and the Damme site belong together. In other words: If you want GRIMME, you have to want Damme. The film should generally be very pointedly designed in order to really only appeal to the people Grimme himself wants! True to the motto: “If you like the city better, you should stay there. We don’t want to turn a big city dweller into a country bumpkin, because you have to like this here.”
CONCEPT:
We approached this initial situation consciously and offensively, with the world’s very first double image film. But instead of watching two films in a row, as in the cinema, the viewer experiences the dialogue between the two themes. Two films in one, an image film for GRIMME is always an image film for Damme, i.e. a “double image film”.
Of course, we also had to do something special for the great awards (see below). On site in Damme and near Grimme, we were able to get a perfect impression of the place and the company. A family business with heart and humour! And with the trust in us, so that such an image film, which should also be a recruiting video, becomes reality.
SUCCESS:
Of course, the “Double Image Film” is the winner par excellence at the International Business Film Days!
Best image film (somehow logical), best recruiting film, best screenplay (also logical) and as the icing on the cake the winner of the Grand Prix, i.e. the best of all submissions, the best of all image films, recruiting videos and all other categories: The double image film awarded four times.
With almost 80,000 views on Facebook and YouTube, far more people have seen the Double Image Film than Damme has inhabitants. Especially comments like “Now I want to work at Damme and live in Grimme … uh, the other way around.”, “That’s how talent acquisition works today!” and “A great image film. That will definitely stay in my head!” speak for themselves and the success of the recruiting film.
The fact that the “Double Image Film” is now shown on several pages of competing film productions proves once again that we are simply better. Because we are the original.
