TASK:
zeb is a management consultancy from Münster, whose main field of activity is financial service. Throughout the European market, renowned banks are among her long-standing customers. In detailed briefing discussions on the new corporate film, zeb emphasised the values of “proximity”, “specialism” and “future viability”, which are very important in the company. The new image film was intended to show that the company is all about one thing: they are the “Partners for change”.
CONCEPT:
In the still very conservative financial industry, it is not a matter of course to be able to laugh at oneself. Hardly anyone dares to admit to themselves and the outside world that there is potential for improvement in their own company in this area. But because – in addition to absolute professionalism – it is precisely this approachability, humanity and authenticity that make up zeb’s way of working, it quickly became clear that a new film should also convey exactly these values. The result was an unconventional, self-deprecating and innovative concept that leaves no questions unanswered as to why zeb is exactly the right consulting partner – and not only for companies in the finance sector.
IMPLEMENTATION:
A funny script set the framework, then it was time to get down to the nitty-gritty: What is filmed in-house, where is stock footage used, what is animated? The diversity of zeb locations, employees and the range of products and services should also be reflected in a wide range of material. Filming finally took place at the headquarters in Münster, in Vienna and in Milan. However, since zeb is located in many locations, the company was also heavily dependent on the cooperation of colleagues from all over Europe. At the same time, the script for the entire film was also completely animated. zeb online also uses the end result on all channels for recruiting purposes, and the second, purely animated film version is used, for example, for trade fair appearances. And lo and behold: courage and humor are rewarded! The internal and external feedback for the film is great and is also reflected in the increasing number of applications. What a success! The next joint project is sure to come…
