TASK:

The Hamburg-based engineering firm PINCK takes care of things that we feel every day but don’t see. They ensure that buildings function and plan heating, ventilation and electrics. The so-called technical building equipment (TGA). The challenge was to stage this complex topic in a corporate film. But how do you show planning and products that no one is supposed to see, but that simply work inconspicuously?

CONCEPT:

In a joint workshop at PINCK, possible topics, insights and values for the film were developed. Based on this, various concepts were presented, among which the courageous narrative approach “Mission TGA” was quickly chosen.

PINCK’s expertise lies in the planning and installation of ventilation shafts, electrics and pipes in buildings. All things that always play a role in a certain film genre: heist films like ZB. Oceans 11. That’s why the concept implements the image film in the style of a Hollywood-style heist film. Except that the suspected burglars are in fact the engineers from PINCK who are planning the building.

IMPLEMENTATION:

The film was shot in the middle of the traditional Speicherstadt in Hamburg. The actors are all employees of the company themselves, which gives the audience the authenticity of the PINCK company despite the staged scenario. In addition, innovative sequences of selected reference buildings were created by PINCK for the film. With a mixture of hyperlapse and FPV drone footage, breathtaking flights around and into the buildings are created right into the heart of the technical building equipment.
