Flyerline
Crash Course in Schwyzerdütsch
TASK:
Flyerline is a renowned online printing company from Switzerland. The company manufactures pretty much everything that can be made with paper and cardboard for its customers. From brochures to all-weather posters or gastronomic items such as bowls and cups to life-size displays, e.g. for cinemas. Flyerline wanted a likeable image film and social media content for its platforms and channels in order to address (potential) customers and (potential) employees.
CONCEPT:
From our own experience of various shoots in Switzerland or through other Swiss customers, we always come into professional contact with Schwyzerdütsch. We wanted to express the pleasure of this very own language with the concept. Because Schwyzerdütch is more than “Grüezi” or “Auf Wiedeluage”… In an experiment, we confronted a whole series of testimonials (none of them from Switzerland) with Flyerline products on which very special expressions and phrases were written in Swiss German. Their struggle to try to repeat and interpret the expressions was our story, through which the entire Flyerline company was told.
Try it yourself: “Chasch nöd de Füfer und sWeggli ha” – the solution is in the film!
IMPLEMENTATION:
The film was shot at Flyerline itself on the Swiss side of Lake Constance and in a Munich studio, cleverly and naturally illuminated with a total of three cameras. “The Crash Course in Schwyzerdütsch” has been brought to a wide variety of formats for a wide variety of channels:
– A main film in different lengths
– A trailer
– Various social media snippets in different lengths and formats with additional animations
The content was distributed on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and on the Flyerline website.
