TASK:
Lohmann & Rauscher is a manufacturer of medical and hygiene products and is looking for new talent in the office, in production and in the field. One company – three very different job profiles – and everything was to be combined in a video campaign.
It works in multiple languages.
CONCEPT:
The umbrella concept of the campaign is “What’s missing here? You!” and shows applicants that their future job urgently needs them. Because in the midst of modern machines and friendly colleagues, something is simply missing without them.Since the positions we are looking for are very different, we have developed a modular film concept. A short scene for each work environment (office, production, field service) is followed by a general, animated company presentation.
In this way, we were able to realize three clips in a short time that address the respective target group precisely and still show all facets of L&R as an employer.
The films also work without sound and only with animations, which can be easily adapted into all languages.
IMPLEMENTATION:
We shot at the main location and were able to cover all three areas there. For example, with the support of eager Lohmann & Rauscher employees, we caused a production machine to overflow, staged a sales situation in the hospital and blocked an elevator for a lonely coffee mug. The actors of the films are also employees. This allows applicants to take a quick look at their future colleagues and the videos become more authentic.
The animations were adapted to the rhythmic music from the beginning and convey the facts about the company and the job in an entertaining and dynamic way. Nevertheless, the focus was on a reading speed that can still be grasped by non-native speakers.
A good translation of visual and linguistic humour for further language versions was only possible thanks to native speakers.
SUCCESS:
The films work both internally and externally. They create identification with one’s own workplace and offer a quick and unusual insight into the future job of applicants. Because they realize after just a few seconds: What’s missing here? They are.
